We had an outstanding opportunity to attend the Women’s Business Development Center’s 24th Annual Entrepreneurial Women’s Conference last week in Chicago, IL. We are proud to be a part of this organization and were thrilled to see how much the event has grown over the years. What a great turnout, over 50 corporate, media and WBE sponsors with an excellent array of speakers and networking events.
Our favorite speaker was Mellody Hobson, a nationally recognized voice on financial literacy and investor education, a regular financial contributor on ABC’s Good Morning America and the President of Ariel Investments, a Chicago-based money management firm. We applaud her for her efforts and mission to change America’s financial landscape by encouraging people to invest in their futures, specifically those that had no exposure to long-term financial planning, so that we can continue to prosper and grow as a nation. And of course, we made many great connections during the Business Fair and look forward to the opportunity for partnerships with many of the corporate attendees! Looking forward to next year — we love attending women conferences!
