A Fortune 10 Energy company launched a multi-million-dollar initiative to centralize data across its manufacturing, refinery, and chemical plant operations. Each business unit had historically managed its own analytics environment, creating deep silos that limited enterprise visibility, slowed decision-making, and hindered collaboration.
 
To enable cross-functional insights and scalable reporting, leadership set out to build a unified data ecosystem powered by a Snowflake enterprise data warehouse and an expanded Databricks-enabled data lake.
