In this edition of Friday Favorites, in honor of the last Friday in April, (goodbye April showers), we’re going to shower you with some awesome #FollowFriday IG pages. But not just any IG pages, we’re going to focus on five of the best accounts to follow for #workinspo.
Fast Company’s profile is great since they offer snippets into their magazine and online articles. The photos, whether they be portraits or products, are colorful and extremely engaging and we highly recommend checking out the profile as a whole. The portrait grams usually offer great quotes in the captions from the pictured business leaders, who are a solid mix of big names and up and coming professionals.
As you know, LinkedIn is perhaps THE professional networking site (and if you’re not on it, pause reading this article, and go set up a profile). LinkedIn’s page offers awesome snapshots of some of its users and how they use LinkedIn. Job searching and building a network can be tedious so it’s awesome to hear from other users directly!
Pop Your Career
Rebecca McFarland is an HR professional and career coach who’s behind Pop Your Career. Pop’s page offers cheeky bits of inspiration. But don’t just check the picture, the captions themselves are a treasure trove of tidbits!
You’ve likely seen the Business Insider videos about new products, companies, and innovations on Facebook, so it’s not surprising they brought their inspiring content to IG. They’ve also got some great images with quotes including if videos aren’t your thing. But we highly recommend the videos if you’re looking for innovative inspiration on the quick.
Though geared towards women, Career Contessa’s page offers a solid mix of quotes, memes, and advice. Its posts can be appreciated by all! They are also a case study on what a consistent, well-branded IG can look like!
And while we’re at it, if you’re perusing IG looking for a company with an awesome culture, great people and cool offices, check out KellyMitchell on IG!
