SAINT LOUIS, MISSOURI – JANUARY 19, 2022 – KellyMitchell Group for the first time was featured on the Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA) largest staffing firms annual report.
The report, “Largest Staffing Firms in the United States: 2021 Update” spotlights 186 staffing firms that generated $100 million or more in U.S. staffing revenue in 2021. Altogether, the firms on the 2021 list garnered $95.1 billion in revenue, comprising 69.9% of the market, according to the SIA report.

The IT staffing sector, which KellyMitchell counts as its largest segment, was well-represented on the 2021 report; A total 57 firms, or 31% of the total listed, cited IT staffing as providing its largest source of revenue. Industrial temporary staffing was the largest revenue segment for 61 firms, or 33% of those on the list. Healthcare staffing was the largest revenue segment for 37 firms, or 20% of those listed.
Staffing revenue in the report includes temporary staffing, direct hire and retained search as well as temp-to-hire conversions. It does not include other types of workforce solutions revenue such as MSP, RPO, pay rolling or outplacement.
The report is release annually by SIA. A previous report featured 175 firms that generated $100 million or more in staffing revenue in 2019.
