KM Around Town: NYC Edition

Copy of Myth Busters- Sales

New York City, the Big Apple, the City that Never Sleeps, the Capital of the World, Empire City, Gotham, or the City of Dreams. Whatever you want to call it, on such a small island so densely populated, it’s no surprise that you can find something for everyone. And the neighborhood our Soho office is in is no exception. And to prove our point, we’ve compiled a list of some of our favorite spots within a 15 minute walk from the office!

The Crown is a personal fav of one of our coworkers. This roof top bar and lounge has unparalleled views of the city which makes it a great place to meet up with friends for after hours drinks or food. Insiders tip: plan ahead and reserve a table outside on the terrace!

Happy Hours are a quintessential part of the New York City lifestyle. And Pera Soho has one of our absolute favorites! This Mediterranean hot spot has both an incredible vibe but awesome bites! Their Happy Hour is generously run from 4pm-7pm so don’t feel like you’ve got to rush out of work to get there! But with $7 appetizers and cocktails, plus outdoor seating, how could you limit it to just one hour?

While, Pietro is open lunch and dinner, our favorite is brunch. Because really, what is brunch if not baskets of carbs and picture perfect moments? And Piertro with its bubblegum pink interior is beyond #instagramable! We’re not gonna lie, we’ve have some pretty envious friends now that they’ve found out how close we work to Pietro.

Lure is perfect when it’s too humid to be outside but all you want to do is pretend you’re on a boat in the Hampton’s. Lure is designed to specifically look like the interior of a yatch. Plus their bar scene is unrivaled and they have some of the freshest fish in the city so weather it’s the middle of July or January and you just wish it was summer again, this is a great spot.

If you’re looking for a sure fire way to be the most popular person in your office, check out Dominque Ansel. Bringing in a box of their cronuts (croissant/donut hybrid) or their cookie shots (available after 3pm) are guaranteed to make you an office favorite. Or if you just want a quick grab and go lunch, their sandwiches and salads are incredible!

While this might be shocking based on its name, Antique Garage is an antique store in a garage (with live jazz, that part is surprising). Whether you’re shopping or heading in for a bite to eat you’re bound to be amazed by this incredibly unique spot!
