To help raise money for the Northwest Chapter of JDRF which supports research to cure Type 1 Diabetes and its complications, the Sheraton Seattle Hotel culinary team works with local architecture and construction firms to design, bake and construct some of the most elaborate Gingerbread “Houses” you’ve ever seen. And since it’s open 24/7, there is really no excuse to miss out on this incredible display of creativity and engineering!

Lions, tigers, and BEARS, oh my! Whether you’ve got kids or you’re just a kid at heart, the Teddy Bear Suite at the Fairmont is a crowd-pleaser regardless of age. This magical suite is every child’s dream come true, filled with bears and bear-themed books! If you’re looking for a last-minute spot to take your holiday card photo, look no further than this “bear-y” special spot!

During two time slots every day from Thanksgiving until Christmas Eve, this shopping center makes it “literally” snow in the mall’s atrium. In a town like Seattle where it doesn’t typically get cold enough for snow, this is a special treat for shoppers of all ages! Be sure to check out the Light Up the Night 3D mapping display on the outside of the mall as a bonus!
