In this month’s edition of ‘KM Around Town’, we are heading down south! Our Dallas office is growing quickly [we’re hiring!], and the spotlight is on. Here are our favorite spots around town, as told by our KM Dallas team. They say everything’s bigger in Texas and with some of these spots, we certainly can’t disagree!
Located on the first floor of the KM office building. This ultra-hip spot has “Texas Modern with a Twist” cuisine. Think of it as a little southern home cooking mixed with some Top Chef tendencies.
Regardless of where you are in your golf practice, Top Golf is an all-around crowd-pleaser. Whether you go to legitimately practice or are looking for a group activity on a Friday night, Top Golf has you covered. With 74 bays equipped for both group and private use, Top Golf has reinvented the game of golf from beyond its previous stale Country Club beginnings.
Built on an old railroad line, this outdoor escape provides quite the contrast to the otherwise urban landscape of Dallas. For whatever outdoor activity you choose, jogging, dog walking, skating, or bicycling, Katy Trail offers the natural escape you’re looking for.
If you make it over to Katy Trail but maybe want to take a break for refreshments, check out the Katy Trail Ice House. With a bar stocked with local craft beers and food made from scratch, the Ice House is a great stop off the Trail.
Looking for an after hours happy hour spot? Look no further. Happiest Hour, is as its name implies, the happiest happy hour spot. With ample, indoor and outdoor seating, HH has become the ‘it’ bar in town. And we certainly aren’t complaining, it’s only two blocks from our office!
Imagine a bar and a dog park combined… Well, that’s exactly what we get with Mutts Canine Cantina! With a full-service bar and restaurant placed combined with space for Fido to sit or run around, Mutts is a place for friends and Man’s Best Friends alike.
Work week got you craving a little karaoke? Look no further than Big Al’s. With karaoke night being Wednesday through Saturday, you’ll never miss a chance to belt it on stage.
